Rick Aviation KPHF Pilot Reviews

Rick Aviation is the go-to FBO for the area. It's not just the best VALUE for your dollar; it's the nicest, best-run FBO, hands down. From the always professional and friendly line crews (how often do you find a line person sharply marshaling you in, smiling like you're their best friend), to the CSRs (look up quality, excellence, and service in the dictionary, and Penny's picture is there), to the quick turns or RON capability - Rick's rocks.

Penny offered excellent assistance while I was planning my arrival. I purchased the minimum required fuel quantity and stayed for seven nights. The FBO staff were quite pleasant, and the courtesy van transported us to a nearby lodging facility. The interior space is tidy and relaxing. Flight planning resources were accessible. This is the finest FBO in this region for multi-night stops. Returning the rental car was simple upon our departure.

There is a ramp charge of $25 and facility fee of $25 for a C172. All of these charges would be waived if 10 gallons of fuel are purchased.

Stopped in this afternoon and had an excellent experience. Quick and efficient check in, and a courtesy car was offered so I could meet a friend and grab a meal. Penny at the desk was especially kind. I look forward to my next visit.

The pricing here is significantly higher than what Foreflight advertised. We stayed two nights in a C182 and were charged $75 total—$25 for a ramp fee and $25 per night for parking. We will not be returning.
