Sheltair KORL Pilot Reviews

A nice location, though it was busy and slow. I visited twice this past week and experienced a long wait for fuel. They have several fuel trucks and personnel available, yet only one truck was operational with a single attendant. Be sure to follow up to ensure you receive the ice requested upon landing and that fueling occurs promptly. I even assisted the attendant in fueling the second tank once my passengers arrived, and I still hadn't received fuel. Friendly staff, but the service speed needs improvement.

The facilities were nice, and the people were even nicer. I flew in a light twin and experienced no issues whatsoever. One of the line personnel, Robert, was exceptionally helpful; he allowed my grandmother inside the secure area and escorted her to a viewing spot for my departure. Occasionally, these small gestures are what matter most.

Excellent team at Sheltair Orlando. Line service was super helpful. Everyone really- top notch! They took very good care of us. Controllers and tower were first rate too. The aircraft, a C185, was handled well.
