Atlantic Aviation KORL Pilot Reviews

The fees included an airport charge of $10. For the RV6, the FBO fee was $40, though it was waived with an 8-gallon fuel purchase, otherwise it is $20 per night.

It's always good to see a familiar face. Ed greeted me on my February trip in 2025 just as he did when I was based there in 2015. Friendly group, pricey fuel off the truck but no more than others. Self-fueler is conveniently located off the ramp. Coffee remains fresh after all these years. The conference room is always available when we need it, as is the Crew car. Easy in and out, large ramp, linemen are attentive, although I always email and call over the radio ahead of pulling onto the ramp.

The people here are very friendly, but the pricing is absolutely absurd. Even with a one-dollar discount on AVGAS, I still paid significantly above the average airport rate. Charging $153 for a GPU hookup lasting just five minutes for engine start on a Cessna 421 is excessive.

This was one of the worst FBO experiences I have ever had.

Flyer BEWARE! 5/2/24 called and was quoted $20/nt ramp fee, $10 one-time sec fee & $40 one-time fac fee waived with 15 gal fuel purchase by agent Michelle. Arrived 5/2/24 and departed 5/5/24 expecting a $110+tax bill. The same agent at checkout billed a $52/nt ramp fee instead of $20/nt. She stated she couldn't adjust it because the rate was already in the system, resulting in a charge exceeding $156 for three nights for a single-engine piston aircraft plus fees. I assumed I would save money by coming to Atlantic, but I was unfortunately overcharged. Never again! Consider SheltAir at ORL instead.
