Atlantic Aviation KIAD Pilot Reviews

September 23, 2025 Sarah was outstanding. She helped me over the phone a few days before arrival, answering all my questions about fees and the arrival process, and then I had the chance to meet her in person on the day of departure. There were no surprises with fees; everything was exactly as she had explained. The facility is modern and comfortable, and the staff was professional throughout. A reliable choice when flying into Dulles.

The staff allowed passengers to walk out to the aircraft without the crew being aware or giving consent. This appears quite unprofessional.

I am very excited to be able to utilize the Class B airspace and fly all over the US. I always confirm fees in advance because some operators certainly overcharge for turboprops. The landing fees were significantly higher than what I was quoted over the phone. I was quoted $100 per night for a TBM850 on the ramp, but the actual charge ended up being $400 per night. Unbelievable! I do not pay that much in the Bahamas or Turks and Caicos. When I inquired why the fees were so much greater than a week prior when I called, the response was simply, "That is what we charge." Okay then. This will not be a repeat visit.

Recently moved in as new tenants. The staff are all wonderful! Attentive, helpful, and very friendly to deal with—a great team.

I can echo what the recent Cirrus review said... total fees for my Mooney were $56 with fuel purchase. Overnight was $20. For a major Bravo airport, honestly not bad at all. Especially considering IAD to DC proper is a relatively minimal travel time versus the other options. Our Uber ride took 39 minutes. As for Atlantic itself, the staff here were wonderful and very accommodating. The facilities were great, and the taxi to 01/19C is as easy as it gets.
