Signature Aviation KBWI Pilot Reviews

The worst service we have experienced. We requested fuel four separate times, and a GPU twice—nothing arrived. There is construction in front of the FBO, making access to the building difficult for requesting services; subsequently, they stopped answering their phone. We eventually located a fuel attendant and spoke with him directly. It is time to switch our service provider until they can improve their operations.

I usually operate in and out of FME, but weather was unavoidably bad (low ceilings/fog) so diverted to BWI. $60 handling fee (putting in two sets of chocks). $55 landing fee (from the city). $8 infrastructure fee (I did grab a "free" cappuccino and a banana, so...). $70/night parking for a BE-55. Not great, but not as bad as I feared. They were kind enough to give me a ride over to the terminal and pick me up a few days later. It's a beautiful facility and the staff were pleasant, although expensive.

I was just quoted $55 handling, $30 landing, and $8 infrastructure fees for a Bonanza A35 for a 30 minute turnaround on Friday morning 3-14-25. I was calling to prepare for BWI as an alternate.

The landing fee was $55, and the parking fee amounted to $70 for a C-182.

The negative comments seem a little severe for this Signature FBO. I have found this location to be quite reasonable considering it is situated at a Class B airport. Indeed, parking rates are high, but it remains complimentary for stays under three hours. Furthermore, there is a landing fee, but that is a charge levied by BWI/MD, not Signature. There is also a handling fee applied to single-engine piston aircraft, though this is waived if you purchase 10 gallons of fuel (at, admittedly, a high price per gallon). However, how else would you expect Signature to maintain such a large and impressive facility? Overall, I consider it worthwhile.
