August 2023 visit - New asphalt runway and taxiway completed and operational. It appears 24-hour access is available to a pleasant air-conditioned FBO featuring Wifi, a recliner, a couch, a restroom, and honor-system snacks and beverages.

I hangar at T78 & commute past other airports, due to the hospitality and pricing. Phil (onsite mechanic & airport attendant) is one of the finest people I’ve encountered in aviation. He will go out of his way to help accommodate you. The airport is undergoing runway & taxiway resurfacing, so superb conditions are coming soon. Fuel is the most affordable in the region. Small FBO is pleasant. Courtesy car with no restrictions, within reason. The drawback is that the IFR approach is limited to daytime use only. The city is actively working to fix this issue.
