This remains an excellent fuel stop. They feature a modern self-service Avgas pump. It is unattended. The courtesy car key is located on the desk inside the terminal building. Access uses a code entry system. Snacks, sodas, and coffee are available for purchase. The restroom, which includes a shower, has been updated, and the kitchen area is currently undergoing renovation. I frequently use this location when traveling across central Tennessee. The fuel price here is consistently the best in the region.

Excellent airport experience! I stopped by for a quick fuel top-off a few days ago. The fuel was readily accessible and offered at a fantastic price. Flying into and departing from this field is certainly enjoyable given the surrounding terrain, though it presents no major difficulty.

I agree with all the preceding comments. M29 has become my preferred cross country fuel stop. It is VFR day operations only, but otherwise, it is precisely what one seeks in a brief stop.
