The self-service fuel option was non-operational as of October 20, 2025.

Excellent spot for a fuel stop. They offer the lowest 100LL prices in the area. During operating hours, there is a pleasant pilots lounge featuring snacks and chilled bottled water. Furthermore, they have very helpful maintenance personnel during business hours; they truly assisted me out of a difficult situation during a fuel stop today and enabled my departure. The fuel hose is best pulled directly out, then guided toward the large arrow fuel parking location. Contact Bakersfield tower shortly after departure for Class D transitions heading north.

Truly excellent FBO offering competitive fuel rates and superb maintenance services! David assisted me quickly regarding a brake issue, and I was airborne again in under two hours. My sincere thanks to Robert and the entire Best Aviation team!

A very pleasant fuel stop. All personnel were quite friendly and supportive. Simple arrival and departure procedures. You can park alongside the self-serve pumps, and the hoses should reach easily. I understand they offer maintenance services should any issue arise.

We experienced an unexpected overnight stay at L45 because of a landing gear malfunction. Sarah assisted us greatly, allowing us to use the pilot's lounge. She also provided access to a shower and fresh towels. Truly excellent service from this FBO.
