A nice, yet busy general aviation airport. Every other weekend features a "display day" related to the property tax exemption program. Many fine aircraft are showcased, and the Ninety-Nines chapter hosts docents for tours. The Airport Manager often discounts 100LL fuel over these weekends. The savings usually range from $0.75 to $1.00 off the self-serve price. Ella's restaurant is top-notch, offering a superb patio on the transient apron where one can watch aircraft movements while dining. Pilots arriving for brunch, lunch, or dinner receive a 15% reduction on their bill if they inform the server of their status.

Had no interaction with ground personnel. I ate at Ella’s Airport Restaurant; it was decent but a bit expensive. Unbeknownst to me—there were no NOTAMs, and their website lacked necessary details—they were hosting an open house at the airport. That's fine, except for the Huey that arrived and hover-taxied past the line of parked aircraft, blasting debris onto my plane!
