The airport is quite acceptable. The runway surface is in good shape. Some of the ground crew personnel at the FBO were notable for both positive and negative reasons. One individual I spoke with via phone was dismissive regarding my request to secure hangar space for my aircraft, showing little concern that severe weather was approaching. However, the rest of the team was very keen to ensure my visit was as smooth as possible. The fee schedule requires revision to accurately reflect the $100 daily hangar rate for smaller general aviation planes.

Excellent service from both the FBO and Hangar 6 cafe. The fueler was ready immediately after I shut down the engine. They continue to offer the "$100 Hamburger" promotion. If you purchase $100 worth of fuel, you receive a complimentary burger at the cafe. Staff at the cafe were very pleasant and served our food promptly. The burger and fries were quite tasty!

Second visit in a month, both were pleasant experiences. Friendly staff, I called ahead to request a crew car. As good as it gets—thank you!

Picked up a friend at UVA for a trip to New Mexico. Self-serve fuel worked perfectly, although printing a receipt was tricky; I sorted that out inside. The restaurant on the field is nice. It's a somewhat busy airport, but overall, a very good FBO experience.
