Attended a football game day a couple of weeks ago. Flew in VFR with flight following; the switch from ATC to tower was straightforward with a straight-in approach (brief procedures found on the old Miss airport website). We were guided to parking on the east side in the grass (C182). A golf cart took us to the FBO, and they refueled the aircraft while we were at the game. A shuttle was provided to the game, but the return shuttle had a long wait, and the FBO could not contact the shuttle service, so we used Lyft to get back to the airport. The team at the airport was friendly and helpful. The landing and parking fee was $75.

UOX HAS A CREW CAR!!! After hearing rumors and horror stories, we were pleased to learn on arrival that the FBO does possess a crew car. Quick, courteous service from the line and desk personnel. They could use a bigger pilot lounge (only 4 recliners), but the FBO facility is quite substantial.

A very welcoming environment here, except during football weekends. I flew in during baseball season and had a wonderful experience. The staff even assisted when I needed to clear a large bird's nest from the tail section. Be prepared for chaos during football season. The landing fee for a piston single-engine aircraft was $215, and costs only increase from there. Parking is restricted, and grass parking is no longer permitted, according to the airport's website. The FBO operations regarding charging exorbitant special event fees (which exceed those at comparable SEC airports) should perhaps be reviewed by the FAA.

This FBO is quite poor; how can they charge such high fuel prices and ramp fees while failing to provide crew cars?? Seriously? Oxford University should feel embarrassed by this situation!

Flew into this location for a business trip in my RV, and the staff here are truly wonderful! Extremely helpful and professional. I look forward to my subsequent visit.
