Was on a cross-country flight to Virginia and planned this airport for a fuel stop. Upon arrival, a massive fly-in event was underway—apparently the largest of the year. They topped off our tanks quickly, and we departed soon after. For your information: an extra percentage surcharge applies to specific credit cards. For instance, Discover incurs a fee, but VISA does not.

I utilized KTTA instead of RDU to meet some friends for a couple of days. It is a very pleasant airport. I pulled onto the ramp and there was no marshaling, though they did announce over the radio that I could use any available tiedown spot. I had called ahead to secure a reservation. I had hoped the ground crew might bring a golf cart over to assist with the luggage, but they did not appear. I was slightly surprised by the minimal service, particularly given the strong emphasis in the lobby regarding the airport's growth and economic investment. The service quality definitely needs enhancement.

Very nice FBO with many recent updates and excellent service from the staff here. Fuel prices are reasonable, and they offer a discount for Pilot N Paws flights. I would certainly stop here again in the future.

Flew in today (01/05/24) to handoff a Pilots N Paws (PNP) rescue. The FBO is very inviting and the staff are amazing.
