The self-serve pump saved my bacon. Since no one was working at KLAN, I jumped down here for fuel—it was perfect. I took 20 gallons and got back out quickly.

It has been a long time since I last commented. I would no longer describe this facility as "nice"; nor is it dependable. I am based here and have observed a significant drop in the quality of the facilities. Fuel availability is highly inconsistent. Avoid landing here if you have minimum fuel; proceed elsewhere instead. Today, the facility was completely inoperative and not noted on any NOTAM. There was no attendant present, requiring me to fly out to obtain fuel; assistance was at least 30 minutes away. It is quite disappointing, as this used to be a pleasant location.
