Excellent airport and very friendly staff at the FBO. I would highly recommend it. However, be advised there is no fuel available when the FBO is closed, and no restrooms or terminal access is provided during those off-hours.

Excellent runway, very helpful team, and quite reasonable prices. I have flown in and out a few times, and this is my preferred airport for this region of North Carolina. Be aware that there are other nearby airports sharing the same CTAF, so paying close attention to the radio is important.

Used KTDF for the first time after many years of flying into and out of RDU for a visit to Durham. Really pleasant experience; the rental car pickup from the National FBO desk was smooth, fuel prices were competitive, and the staff was friendly. I don't make these trips often anymore, but this is a solid facility and certainly worth considering as a superior alternative to the more expensive options.

Stopped for fuel, but nobody was present. Only a fuel truck was available, no self-service option.
