There is no self-serve fuel available, only the fuel truck option. Therefore, plan your arrival time accordingly. That said, the staff there are excellent. They provided recommendations for a nearby motel and a good restaurant, and they even loaned me a courtesy car for the evening. Extremely helpful, I highly recommend this stop.

Lost alternator so diverted to Susanville CA. Friendly FBO helped remove the cowling and troubleshoot. While waiting for the new alternator to be overnighted, the FBO provided us use of a Crown Vic that held our bikes, and suggested the Bizz Johnson rail to trail, complete with tunnels, which was truly amazing. They also recommended excellent hotels and dining options. The FBO called at 9 AM while we were hiking in the local Ranch Park to confirm the alternator had arrived. We installed it and departed promptly. Thanks to Terry, Pete, and Jake.

Stopped in again. Tie-downs with chains were available. There is no overnight parking fee if you purchase fuel. Service was friendly. Make sure to get the gate code if you require access to your aircraft before or after standard hours. A crew car is also available.
