The on-field mechanic (Bryce?) misdiagnosed my faulty alternator as a bad regulator, subsequently charging me $800 to swap the alt (Lycoming O-235) which is just two bolts and a belt, and I COVERED THE COST OF THE ALTERNATOR! Upon departure, the fuel pressure gauge read completely full. The mechanic became quite defensive when I pointed this out, claiming I was attempting to take advantage of him. A very poor experience at this maintenance facility. I would highly advise flying to Duluth for any necessary service if feasible. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING VISIT
