Atlantic Aviation consistently provides good service, and costs are reasonable if you limit fuel purchases. For my recent trip, they helpfully suggested I could bypass their standard fees by utilizing parking section 2. Access to that area is managed via the municipal airport portal online. Parking charges are handled by vector. Fuel prices at Sun Valley are high, typical for resort areas in the mountains. I made a stop at GNG on my departure route; it added a bit of time, but the fuel savings were substantial. Ultimately, the decision is yours.

ZERO STARS. Insanely high fees, poor service. Today, multiple fuel trucks were out of service; terribly understaffed, with no one qualified to deice aircraft. Monday at 11am, five planes were on the ramp. Staff were hustling and doing their best—however, it's no match for poor management, and too few people with too little experience.

Atlantic continues to be very greedy at this location. We were scheduled to shuttle kids in for Angel Flight West to camps, and called the FBO to inquire about landing fees and fuel discounts for charity groups. There was no change to the fees offered, and the JetA fuel was twice the cost ($9.30/gal) of locations within 25NM. There is no balance here. They simply charge the maximum possible amount to everyone, in the name of profit. It seems that a little competition and compassion on the field is warranted and necessary. We transported the children to KGNG instead, and they enjoyed a slightly longer bus ride.

They can charge whatever they want, and they certainly do charge what they please. They hold exclusive rights, granted by the city, allowing them to overcharge substantially if you wish to land an aircraft near Sun Valley within an hour and a half.
