An amazing FBO, Bart and John welcomed us and let us o/n in the pilot lounge. We took the courtesy car to visit the town, which is a culinary gem. The museum is definitely worth visiting; we drove around the lake and took a swim. It was fun to watch the crop dusters in action, and our Grumman was the only non-AG plane in sight. Wonderful, friendly folk and a fantastic place to visit—will definitely be back to enjoy the best range of cuisine in Iowa.

I fully agree with Nathan S on Jason D being employee of the month. Stopped through going to Salida and he couldn't have been more helpful. He even gave me some mountain flying tips that helped relieve any anxiety—top notch guy.

The courtesy vehicle and friendly staff made for an excellent lunch stop. The Smokin' Hereford BBQ establishment was a brief drive away, offering truly delicious barbecue.

I cannot say enough good things about this location whenever we visit Storm Lake. A wonderful small airport. Amazing town. The personnel are very friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. The runway surface is in excellent condition. Jason D should be named employee of the month for his assistance during my recent stop there!
