Swift, simple, and fairly priced stop. In our single-engine piston aircraft, a TB20 Trinidad, we were the smallest plane on the field. We were greeted by a Marshaller. Another staff member transported us in a golf cart to the facility. The new FBO building is not yet operational but appears to be nearing completion. The temporary FBO structure was adequate. The washrooms seemed entirely functional. We utilized the crew car, and the handling fee was waived with a top-off of fuel. Only an $8 infrastructure charge was applied. Courteous personnel. Awful facility. Essentially a temporary structure with a restroom (though the sink is broken and seems to have been for ages). We stopped by hoping to use the terminal cafes, but discovered access was denied. We decided to return to the aircraft immediately and depart. Even after explaining the confusion, I was still billed $45 because my PA32 occupied the ramp space for just three minutes. The staff showed absolutely no concern, stating the $45 covered the “infrastructure space” utilized by my PA32 during those three minutes. I would advise against using this FBO unless you appreciate being overcharged and unable to wash your hands.
