I frequently travel between my workplace in California and my home in Colorado, and I have visited every airport in this area. KRIF stands out as my preferred choice: affordable fuel, modern fueling stations, a long runway, crew car availability, numerous dining choices, and quite scenic views. A truly pleasant stop!

Excellent fueling stop. The pumps are modern and quick. Facilities were tidy. Runway and ramp are in good shape. It is also quite scenic.

Excellent small town airport. The FBO was open, but currently unattended. I called the number listed on the business card at the desk and a very pleasant gentleman answered. We inquired about a crew car availability, and he replied, "Please take whichever one you prefer; the keys are right on the desk." He then offered some helpful lunch recommendations. After enjoying a good lunch, we returned to the airport, fueled up at the self-serve pumps, and departed. A very positive experience overall!
