A very nice place to stop over. Two courtesy vehicles were available. Alexa, who manages the FBO, responded on her day off. She was exceptionally helpful, and the fuel prices were excellent.

Easy in and out, clean facilities, and I am unsure where cheaper fuel is available within a few states. If you are flying IFR, you will need to obtain your clearance via phone, or Longview Approach will assist you once airborne. There is no local Clearance Delivery available on the ground. That would be a valuable addition.

This was intended to be a fuel stop during our journey, but the weather intervened. Following landing, a significant storm passed through, requiring us to remain grounded. Flight Services informed me that conditions ahead were severe. We were ultimately stuck for four days until the weather improved. Sarah, the attendant at the FBO, provided excellent hospitality. She recommended a hotel and activities for us while we waited for the severe weather to subside. I strongly suggest this location as a stopover point. Additionally, the fuel costs are unbeatable.

This location offers the best fuel price in the region and very clean facilities. Runway 30/12 is a bit rough compared to the main runway 35/17, but pilots should not hesitate to use it.
