Flew into KPSX this morning and on final approach to runway 18, workers were pulling a hay bale just across the runway, and I almost had to abort the landing. I had difficulty with the fuel machine because the screen was very faded and extremely hard to read. I used the courtesy car and drove into town for a meal. Finding the car key was a bit tricky, but I called the airport manager whose contact is listed at the desk. I plan on returning and hope they install a new screen for the fuel pump.

The new fuel tank installation went smoothly. The pump appears to be functioning correctly.

Fuel availability was inconsistent.
