Very pleasant airport and facilities. We landed at 5:05 PM and found it deserted; they close at five. We searched everywhere for information regarding hotels but found nothing, and looked for a courtesy car without success. Every listed phone number we called went unanswered. We looked up the Hampton Inn and secured a room, but had no means of transportation there. Google Maps indicated it was 1.2 miles away, so we started walking, only to realize that 1.3 miles was as the crow flies, and we still had 4 more miles to cover. Eventually, we managed to hitch a ride. The next morning, the gentleman continued:

Continued: we thumbed a ride and the next morning had to do it again, no assistance from the attendant at the desk. A kind local drove us to the airport. I was frustrated and recounted our situation to the manager; he mentioned the courtesy car was undergoing maintenance and assured me he would have assisted us had we called. I have since located his number under airport comments, so that is on me, and vehicles do require servicing. The manager was so polite that I couldn't remain upset. I will return whenever, knowing what I know now. Providing numbers for after-hours contacts and hotels is the only suggestion I offer.

They do not accept American Express.

A beautiful and clean FBO facility. Fuel prices were very reasonable. They even provided two bunk beds and a full kitchen setup in case you are required to stay overnight.

Excellent, well-maintained FBO offering affordable fuel. The friendly manager assisted me with the self-service fuel and provided water and soda.
