We were ferrying a Piper Archer from FL to Los Angeles. We diverted here because of the weather. The FBO staff were very friendly. They truly demonstrated what southern hospitality means. This was quite a new experience, as I am from Southern California and it was my first time in the South. You absolutely must try the small restaurant located on the field. The catfish po-boy with fried okra was genuinely good. I also received some local flying advice from a few CFIs who were present. Very pleasant people. An excellent visit, thanks to Southern Sky.

Excellent airport, superb service and wonderful food. Truly what a perfect airport ought to be. I will certainly return.
