Excellent fuel stop; I had to use my phone flashlight to see the screen clearly at night as the backlight was dim. Contacted Cherry Pt approach via phone for clearance; the initial routing provided an unexpected vector westward for about 20 miles. Radio reception was lost from takeoff until approximately 15 miles west at 3,000 feet.

The fuel pump pay station is the newer version you find at most self-serve pumps which lets you input the number of gallons or dollars after swiping your card. It functioned well. The FBO is perfectly adequate, especially given the reasonable price for 100LL. A very pleasant gentleman has been present on the Sundays when we have stopped for fuel. Nice runway.

The gas pumps are modern now, featuring typical card readers and screens for entering gallons or dollars. It's a nice field with an adequate FBO offering reasonably priced fuel.
