One of the better FBOs I have flown into! Flew down from North Carolina to visit family and selected PGD due to the more affordable rates and fees compared to RSW and FMY. The new facility is a benefit, and the service was superb across the board, from line service to the front desk. It was a fantastic visit, and I look forward to my next stop at PGD.

As of October 1st, 2025, they now impose both a facility fee and a ramp fee. My son is taking lessons there and flies his 1946 Aeronca Chief in for his instruction. They charge him a $15 ramp fee and a $20 transient fee. This situation is quite unacceptable—that amounts to $35 every single time he stops by for a lesson. I advise against visiting this location.

Frankly, in 25 years of flying, this is the most dreadful FBO I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, I have a business in Punta Gorda and must visit several times per year, meaning I am subject to their steep charges, various fees, and poor service. I have never bothered to write a review previously, always hoping things would improve. They never do. Since the FBO relocated across the airfield to its new building, the experience has been awful. Consider trying one of the nearby airports—at least at FMY, you receive service along with the charges!

Awful customer support. I'm not certain how they justify the charges. The line service agent who guided us in seemed eager to leave. He failed to inquire about our rental vehicle or offer assistance with the cart for our numerous bags. Inside, the young woman at the counter couldn't clarify the billing structure and stated she knew nothing about our rental car because she "just started." When I inquired if the aircraft needed repositioning, she had to locate a ramp attendant. The attendant who arrived seemed unwilling to assist.

Starting October 2025, they are now charging a $20.00 facility fee for all transient aircraft, irrespective of fuel purchase.
