At OSU for the football game, the ramp was completely full. Our aircraft was parked very far out. Since our clients weren't scheduled to arrive until 6:30, and the game concluded by four, we requested that our plane be moved closer once most other aircraft departed. We were informed this was not possible. It is now 6:10 PM. The ramp is empty, yet they still couldn't reposition our aircraft. This was very poor customer service.

The single-engine ramp fee for the PC-12 is $300.

Overall, this was a positive experience. The personnel at this impressive facility were very friendly. It was clearly a busy training location; there must have been twenty OSU painted trainers on the ramp and operating in the pattern. There could have been more, though I didn't actually count them.

The staff was not very helpful. Upon arrival, there was nobody to greet us. The car rental arrangement was handled reluctantly and incorrectly. During checkout, the personnel were neither friendly nor welcoming. I recognize that some staff might be students, but previous experiences were better. The building itself is a brand new and pleasant facility.

De-icing fluid TKS is available at $30.00 per gallon, and the FBO will assist with supplying rags if self-de-icing is required. Note that there is no sprayer provided for application. However, the service and personnel were excellent—a truly fantastic facility. My only caution is that the ramp area lacks stadium-style lighting, making taxiing potentially dark and somewhat challenging.
