Stopped in on a Sunday for a day layover. Excellent airport with a nice runway. Self-serve pump for 100LL operates smoothly, although the screen is quite difficult to read. It took a few attempts to decipher the display, but it is comparable to other units I have used, and we managed to complete the fueling process.

We spent a night in Macomb, and Jet Air took excellent care of us. We pulled up to the self-serve pump, and Jake assisted me with fueling the aircraft. Subsequently, he moved it into the hangar and directed me to pull the rental car inside for unloading. Since it was raining the following morning, we backed the car into the hangar again to load up, and they towed us out as soon as the weather improved. Thank you, Jake! We utilized Woodrum Toyota in town for the rental car, and it was conveniently waiting at the airport. C182.

Diverted to Macomb because of the weather, and I was quite pleased to find such a pleasant location to wait it out. I utilized a very good crew car for the trip into town for lunch. The staff here are genuinely supportive of General Aviation! I highly recommend this facility.
