BE AWARE- Initially upon arrival I was informed tie-down space for overnight parking was available. The next employee stated no tie-down space was available for overnight parking because a new flight school was leasing all available tie-downs. You can park on the ramp at your own risk, or rent an available spot in the community hangar for about $52.00 per night for a 172 size airplane. If you park on the ramp, your light plane is at risk of being blown around by jet and prop blast or gusty winds.

Self-serve 100LL on the east ramp has been shut down and removed. Fueling is now only available at the FBO.

The service was excellent during a relatively short stopover in a C414. The ramp fee amounted to $125, which was waived upon purchasing 50 gallons of fuel. Staff were very attentive; I utilized the courtesy car for about an hour to visit the nearby AFB.

I landed here a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the service. Front desk is very friendly and offered plenty of amenities while I was getting topped off. I read some poor comments about the place being old (which it is). But it's far from run down. It is one of the nicer FBOs I have visited. I'll definitely use them for another fuel stop in the future.

In response to Dylan L’s comment below, we were unable to successfully work out a lease extension with the Montgomery Airport Authority that would have allowed us to replace the existing FBO terminal building with a new facility. At this point, our short lease does not allow for extensive renovation or replacement of the existing structure. Moving forward, the Montgomery Airport Authority will decide replacement and renovation questions. We want to continue maintaining the place properly and value your feedback.
