South Bend was an excellent overnight stop when I traveled there to visit friends. Although I was using the self-service pump, Jennifer from the FBO kindly assisted when I had some (self-induced) difficulty with the card reader. She also made their hangar available for the night by moving their fuel trucks out to make space—it was good to have access to a heated hangar at a reasonable price on a cold night. Good runway and location. It's an easy decision to stop there again.

The crew car service is unfortunately no longer available as of May 24, 2023. The city has transferred responsibility for it to a different department.
