One of the most helpful and friendly FBOs I have encountered. Surprisingly, it was not busy at all; MidCoast is one of aviation's best-kept secrets.

Stopped for fuel while heading north. Military airspace surrounds the area, so ensure you are communicating with SAV approach. Self-serve fueling is quite simple and priced reasonably. I utilized the courtesy car for a brief trip to grab lunch. All personnel were extremely helpful, and KLHW felt very relaxed. Appreciate the pleasant service.

We were en route from Tampa to Maine when my spouse became unwell. I was planning to land at KSAV, but ATC recommended MidCoast. I could not have selected a superior location for a stop. The staff there are truly exceptional. They fueled and secured the aircraft, organized lodging at the local LaQuinta Inn, secured a discount at the hotel with early check-in without any added fee, provided transportation to the motel, and collected us the following morning so we could resume our journey. I am extremely grateful for all their assistance.

Excellent location for AvGas and for pilots who enjoy visiting unique, smaller airfields. The entire staff, from the line crew at the FBO to the control tower personnel, demonstrated high professionalism.

All prior feedback is accurate. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is excellent, and they offer a crew lounge complete with a quiet room and shower amenities. I was unfortunately grounded due to weather while en route to Florida. They kindly provided me with transportation to a hotel.
