Gulf Air Center KJKA Pilot Reviews

The flight training experience at this facility was exceptional. I flew the SR22 extensively, and the aircraft maintenance was top-notch. My instructor, Sarah, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient throughout the entire process. We spent a lot of time practicing crosswind landings, which was challenging but rewarding. I particularly appreciated the detailed debriefs after each session. The ground school materials were also very comprehensive. I look forward to flying here again soon.

The facility is open until 2000 daily.

The overnight tie-down fee was $25, even though 32 gallons of fuel were purchased; only the facility fee was waived. They did direct me to 4Line Car Rental, which offers delivery to and pickup from the FBO. The rental was a nice, clean, recent Honda Civic for $99 per day. Service at the counter inside the FBO was quite good.

I've been based out of this location for 13 years, and it is evident that Gulf Air does not value the General Aviation fleet present daily. Beyond the excessive fuel prices, the delay for fuel service and the apparent lack of interest and subpar customer service have reached peak levels. It is typical to wait 30-40 minutes for the fuel truck while they prioritize the high-value aircraft on the ramp. I suggest stopping at Foley (5R4) where the fuel is almost $3 less expensive, and the staff are wonderful!

Arrived during the weekend of February 14th. These personnel are absolutely top-tier. I was flying an Arrow, and the staff treated me as if I were in a Gulfstream. Extremely professional and polite individuals. Their pricing is genuinely lower than the standard of service they deliver. Red carpet treatment in a Piper Arrow? That guarantees a return visit down the line. I strongly recommend them.
