Stop at Sheltair for a three-day stay. The rental car was waiting on the ramp upon arrival; I had arranged this over the phone with the front desk a few days prior. Ramp personnel and support staff were very efficient. This is the FBO to select when visiting Jacksonville.

Facility fee for PA-46: $25 waived with fuel purchase. Landing fee for PA-46: $18.78. Security fee: $15.45. Customs fee: $66.95. They also impose a 3% convenience charge for credit card usage—really, who doesn't use one these days?

Despite all the numerous fees, service at SheltAir was excellent. The lineman met us at Customs and ensured we reached the FBO without issue. The fees are mainly because they really dislike GA traffic cluttering the airport and diverting customs agents from the marine environment. Sheltair has consistently provided us with superb service and was very accommodating. They remain our top choice FBO when returning from the Bahamas.

I diverted into JAX in a helicopter due to numerous maintenance issues. The staff was exceptionally helpful and ensured I was taken care of, placing the helicopter in a secure area on the ramp. They even arranged transportation to the terminal so I could catch my connecting flight. Jojo, Keyarra, Justin, and Phil were all fantastic! Highly recommend Sheltair.

Excellent FBO offering superb service for a piston single aircraft. The facility fee was waived with a 10-gallon minimum purchase. The FBO is well-equipped, featuring a comfortable pilot's lounge, a dedicated planning room, and even a crew 'gym' complete with weights and a treadmill. The line and desk personnel were very friendly.
