Flew into Modern Aviation South at KISP recently for Pilots and Paws mission, to pickup a pup to fly them to their furever home. Friendly customer service rep and marshaler. I called ahead to confirm fees and if they could be waived. Took a day to get a confirmed answer, but they were agreeable—thanks! Light staffing but helpful service for the quick turn. I would go into Modern Aviation South again, hoping for another positive experience.

I returned to the FBO at the time I had specified: 7 PM. The doors were locked, and nobody was around. Eventually, I managed to get the attention of someone from the flight school, who granted me entry. The FBO desk was unattended, and there was no staff visible anywhere. I then flagged down another pilot near the aircraft who was able to unlock the tarmac door so my family and I could depart. I anticipate they will mail the invoice for their assistance.

Excellent service and a pleasant facility. Be sure to ask which FBO to use, as there is a "Modern North" and a "Modern South," and this distinction isn't clearly shown on any of the charts.

Stopped by today in my humble Cessna 172 for a fuel stop. Two linemen were waiting to guide me in. Quite friendly service. The man at the counter ( Steve I believe) was just as courteous and kind. I would certainly recommend Modern Aviation without hesitation.
