Excellent self-service facility.

This was not Phillips 66 fuel!

Quite impressed. The runway appears freshly painted. Facilities were excellent and welcoming. Fuel prices for 100LL are among the lowest in the area, particularly near Charlotte. This was our initial visit while relocating our family to Atlanta. We intend to make this a regular stop going forward. One observation: when departing Runway 23, the runway slope causes you to lose visual contact with aircraft still on the ground. Always confirm you have received your runway clearance call before proceeding.

First time into KIPJ, as my son and middle daughter have moved to Charlotte area for work. I was very pleased with the airport. The runway was newly repaved, and the FBO facilities looked brand new. My wife was impressed, and she has flown into many locations with me. Everyone we encountered at the airport was so friendly and pleasant to converse with. This is certainly our preferred stop when flying in this area.

The facilities are nice; they offer only full-service fueling, but the price is reasonable. I plan to return.
