This airport stands out as one of the finest in the Chicago region. The FBO facility is tidy and well-structured; Sandy and Sophie provide excellent service at the counter, and the entire line crew is remarkably attentive. The FBO is kept impeccably clean and organized. They offer full service exclusively, but the team is very prompt. Chicago Center on 132.5 handles ground clearances. The recent installation of new runway markings on 4-22 is also a great improvement.

I concur with the previous comments; this is an excellent stopover point! The junior personnel are welcoming, supportive, and quite quick. Fuel costs are reasonable, and the courtesy vehicle is in good condition. The airport sits well south of the city, so a car is necessary to reach dining options. Approach Control will issue your clearance while you are still on the ground, simplifying procedures considerably. It serves as a fantastic halfway marker between the central Midwest and the Atlantic seaboard.

Had a client needing to come to this area for the evening. What excellent service! Quick, easy, and reasonably priced fuel. Two wonderful people were working, and they went out of their way to help not only me, the pilot, but they also took care of passengers. I highly recommend this FBO. The only drawback is the lack of after-hours fuel without incurring a call-out fee.
