There is a gate code. A prior comment didn't mention looking around before leaving the ramp area. This location offers the most affordable self-serve fuel nearby. It's an excellent airport. Be mindful of the gliders, but since they use the radio, you should be aware of their position.

On 09/02/24, I planned to fly in to meet some friends for dinner. I called the FBO to confirm their operating hours. They advised me they close at 7 PM. I inquired about the gate code to access my aircraft after 7 PM, as I was having dinner with friends. They explained that entry after hours is only possible through the FBO, and it costs $125 PER HOUR for someone to remain on site to grant access to my aircraft. This is completely unacceptable—I initially thought they were joking, but they confirmed they were serious.

Is this the only General aviation airport in the USA that lacks a gate with a code for after-hours transient parking? This presents a significant deficiency at the airport—consequently, I will not be utilizing their services. I had intended to purchase fuel there as well.
