Even though Foreflight doesn't display it, this airfield does offer Jet-A fuel.

An excellent stopover location. David greeted me and assisted with fueling my aircraft with 100LL at the self-serve pumps. Highly recommended.

What a gem of a location. We had to divert here because of extreme forest fire smoke, and visibility dropped to under a mile. We couldn't see the runway until we were about half a mile out. Once I landed, this wonderful person named Betty was there to greet me, even though it was past 8 PM. This individual is a true asset to Hawthorne. My gratitude for her cannot be overstated. She clearly loves her community and the airport. My visit lasted two days, and it was a pleasure. I will certainly come back just for a visit.

Self-serve 100LL and Jet A are available around the clock. The well-known local airport volunteer Betty will meet and greet you at Hawthorne if you file a flight plan into KHTH; she's a dedicated volunteer who documents every arrival and departure to help bring FAA funding to the airport. Consequently, the runway is in beautiful shape! Betty is also fun to chat with.

A new favorite small town airport! The ramp and runways are amazing, appearing brand new. Self-Serve fuel is available for both Avgas and Jet A, operating perfectly and looking pristine. Service here is phenomenal, with volunteers consistently going out of their way to assist visitors. Access to the crew car is easy, and there is some excellent dining available in town too.
