Manager Ivan Veneer is fantastic! We had a group of 27 pilots in 13 airplanes from Colorado on a June 2025 weekend trip there. Ivan was a miracle worker in doing everything we asked and offering to help us in any additional way he could. Excellent airport and fascinating small town with many things to see and do. Hot Springs is a hidden gem yet to be discovered. It sits in a valley surrounded by forested hills with many rock outcroppings. Highly recommended- great food, and many restaurants.

Charming airport with one of the cleanest FBOs ever. Gotta love a place that even has signage to find the extra TP-appreciate that. The highlight was finding left over cinnamon rolls in the refrigerator that seemed up for grabs. Zapped one in the convenient microwave and OMG! Best cinnamon bun EVER! Suspected here in South Dakota it would be worth the calories and I was definitely correct! Left an honor system donation for this amazing treat. Thank you for the excellent stop- We'll be back.
