The operator, Nate, is a very knowledgeable mechanic and helpful on the ramp. He has a crew car, and the town of Thermopolis is quaint and has a couple of good places to eat.

I concur with Wade. A very pleasant regional airport; the runway and taxiways are in excellent condition, resembling new facilities. Fuel prices are quite reasonable too! I routinely stop here when traveling between Houston, Yellowstone, and Seattle in my DA40.
