The crew from FBO came out to volunteer the self-service pump - excellent attitude! The ramp parking is quite far from the pump (practice your hot start skills!). We utilized a crew car - not in top condition but perfectly serviceable. The runway is in superb condition! Fuel prices are likely the lowest in the region - a fantastic spot for fueling and a meal break. The FBO facility is very pleasant.

KHRX is an excellent location to stop for fuel in the Texas panhandle. Fuel pricing is consistently very competitive; self-serve operates smoothly, and the FBO provides everything a pilot requires. I stopped today while heading home for fuel and a quick restroom break. David met me at the self-serve pump and kindly offered assistance with the fueling process. The restroom facilities were tidy, and snacks and beverages were easily accessible. The wide, paved runway made the West Texas crosswind a non-issue.

Third time through in four years. Service was not provided this time, but the fuel pumps are fast and newer. The building is open for access to the restrooms. It is situated next to a feed lot, so expect to see many cows during the final approach and smell them as well.

Arrived at KHRX after sunset, located the self-serve fuel pump quickly. Fuel price here is the best in this region. This is an excellent stopover point for anyone flying through Northwest Texas. The runway and taxiways are in very good condition, and the facilities are quite clean.
