We had to divert to Gunnison because of the weather. We landed around 7:15 and were concerned about the $300 call-out fee. The staff was just preparing to leave, but they immediately provided a courtesy car and even secured the aircraft for us. Ben and the crew were excellent; they truly went above and beyond! The office personnel were also very helpful and welcoming. Our sincere thanks!

Per Airport Management: The airport closes at 9 PM. If the FBO is closed, call Airport Operations up to 9 PM, and they will open the vehicle gate for you at the FBO. The airport is also soliciting bids for a pedestrian gate to allow exit from the airside area at the FBO should the facility be closed.

During summer hours, they close at 7:30 PM. We experienced a delay departing New Jersey and landed at 7:23 PM. By the time we cleared the airport, it was 7:38 PM, and they imposed a $300 call-out fee because they had to remain an extra eight minutes. I provide them substantial business, visiting frequently throughout the month. The line service personnel are excellent, though the office staff is nearly always discourteous.

Line service here is consistently attentive to our requirements and offers assistance with a pleasant smile. The personnel at the front desk always ensure we feel welcome. Today, Teresa went above and beyond to assist.

Stopped at the FBO to drop a passenger off. I required no services or reason to leave the aircraft. I was informed that I still owed them a $150 ramp fee. After discussing this with the office staff, I was advised to land in Montrose next time. I contacted the county manager and subsequently the corporate office. The corporate office handled the situation correctly and reimbursed my $150. Definitely not the finest experience, but the outcome was positive. It is the usual mountain Colorado town that levies excessive charges for everything.
