Grants-Milan Municipal Airport KGNT Pilot Reviews

Just an FYI, they no longer offer a courtesy car.

I stopped in recently to top off 100LL enroute to Santa Fe. I managed to get 5 gallons for my Cessna 150, but the pump dispenses quite slowly; I had to hold the pump handle for approximately 10 minutes. If you are flying something larger, you might be squeezing the trigger for 30 to 60 minutes. The lounge is a considerable walk from the fuel pump, yet it is pleasant for a smaller airport, offering vending machines and tidy restrooms.

Regarding 100LL fuel, it took us several tries using five distinct credit cards for some unknown reason. This was incredibly frustrating since we were quite cold, and it consumed a significant amount of our schedule. We will likely avoid landing here in the future.

I passed through Grants-Milan airport on my way east. It is a quiet airport, and I was the sole customer upon arrival. The airport manager was absent then, so it felt quite deserted. However, after my initial skeptical thoughts, I was very satisfied with the service (thank you Lynn Cannon). The lounge featured a comfortable couch, the restrooms were tidy, and there is a small airport museum just a short walk away. Just do not anticipate a courtesy car or any extras.

Stopped for an overnight stay. A crew car was provided at no charge. The restrooms were quite clean. Regarding the unfortunate pilot who experienced slow fuel pumping…ensure you activate the pump switch. It is situated to the left of the machinery and lacks clear labeling, but once toggled to the 'on' position, the fuel flows excellently.
