In an attempt to avoid a massive line of thunderstorms...Welcome to TX, we made it to KFST. Although we arrived late around 2035L, the manager met us and offered us the hangar to get out of the elements and wind. A crew car was available, and we highly recommend K-BOB's steakhouse, which is open till 2200. There was an abundance of hotels, but on a Tuesday, we finally secured a room on the 6th try. The next day we self-served 100LL at a good price, and then we departed. We will certainly be stopping again. Highly recommend KFST.

Outstanding overnight stay here. I plan to return. I contacted the FBO to inform them I would be landing around 6 PM, which is an hour past their closing time. Upon landing, I called and received instructions on retrieving the courtesy car, which I used overnight. The town is conveniently located near the airport, and hotels are abundant. Affordable avgas was available. It was a great stopover. I will certainly be back.

The new facility looks very nice. I arrived after hours, but the manager kindly made arrangements for a courtesy vehicle. I will certainly stop here again.

Excellent FBO experience, although housed in an older facility presently, it offered effective air conditioning and clean restrooms. I struggled to locate the courtesy vehicle keys, so I contacted Randy; he was quite helpful and directed me to the correct spot. Afterwards, I traveled into town for lunch. A very good stopover.
