Absolutely the worst ramp experience I have ever had. This location does not reflect the quality of other Sheltair facilities. The customer service skills displayed by the ramp agents were severely lacking. We waited several minutes at the ramp entrance just to get a marshall to guide us in, and then waiting for fuel felt incredibly slow after we had called 20 minutes ahead for a quick turn. The fuel truck ultimately arrived 58 minutes after the request was made. I will certainly be exploring other options at FLL.

Customs next door incurred a $42.33 fee for usage. Operations here are costly, but the arrival and departure process was straightforward.

Sheltair FLL remains one of the premier FBOs for a layover. They feature a full-service fitness center equipped with eight machines, hot showers, and a superb pilot lounge situated separately from the main desk area. The line service personnel and front-desk team are consistently accurate and supportive. There is an abundance of crew cars available, always accompanied by friendly greetings. Getting in and out was smooth—absolutely no issues!

Superb FBO. I truly valued their welcoming service, and their AVGAS pricing is quite competitive! This is certainly my preferred spot at FLL now.

Flew in a $1 million airplane, but needed to be 25 to take the crew car.
