The FBO facility was closed on Sunday afternoon. I am uncertain of the exact closing time, but it was shut when I arrived around 1400 local time.

The tower personnel are very patient. I am a new pilot gaining experience at tower-controlled fields. I am impressed by their patience given the flight school activity and high volume of traffic. The FBO staff is also friendly and helpful. I hope they have an open T hangar available soon- Robert.

I sincerely hope not to return. Ground control personnel were neither friendly nor helpful. The FBO staff was even worse, frankly. Furthermore, there is significant construction activity ongoing.

Piper Archer, stayed on ramp from Dec 19 through Jan 6, purchased fuel. The previous year was my first time on the Flagler ramp, with a similar stay duration and dates; I was charged for one month of tie-down, which they communicated upfront, and that seemed perfectly reasonable. This year, as I prepared for departure, the response was, “No, that will constitute two months of tie-down since you crossed over into a new calendar month.” I was confused and attempted to explain that the previous year's billing wasn't structured that way, but I was essentially dismissed with, “I’ve been here for twenty years and this is how it has always been done.” It wasn't worth debating. Following the prior year's experience, I held very favorable opinions of FIN and shared them with other pilots. Perhaps that sentiment has diminished somewhat now. J. Miller
