We stopped at Kemmerer coming and going. David is fabulous; he is the reason we always stop. We had a courtesy car available during both stops for our overnight stay. The runway, ramp, and FBO are very nice. Fuel prices are quite reasonable. We always make it a point to stop here when traveling through. When fueling, I always have my wife run the card inside the FBO while I stay at the aircraft due to the distance. The pump may time out otherwise—it's an FAA regulation.

The runway is freshly sealed and painted. However, our pit stop turned into a hassle because the restrooms were inexplicably locked (apparently this happens often) and the fuel pump timeout was extremely short, especially since the reader is located inside the FBO building. It took five timeouts to successfully fuel all tanks. I generally prefer these less busy airports, and KEMM is certainly making an effort, but I will opt for stopping at nearby Rock Springs next time!

The grounding cables were damaged on both the Jet A and 100LL pumps, preventing us from fueling. I tried calling to report the issue, but there was no answer. Aside from that, it's a neat little airport.

The ground cables are secure now.
