I would certainly recommend this airport. I almost skipped stopping because ForeFlight indicated a fair asphalt runway, but it is actually a new concrete surface for 14/32 (a Skywest CRJ landed just after my arrival, suggesting recent work). The FBO facilities are excellent—comfortable seating, complimentary snacks, water, and more. A ramp agent met me immediately and brought the fuel truck over right away. Furthermore, the full service price was over $2 less expensive than what we pay at KAPA.

Excellent fueling stop. The full-serve price was lower than the self-serve options at other locations I visited. I was able to relax in the comfortable, air-conditioned lounge, enjoying some cold water while the fueling process was completed.

Excellent FBO experience; marshalled directly to parking. We spent the night here. Fueling was completed, and the aircraft was prepared for departure the following morning. The rental car service through Hertz was somewhat subpar, but ultimately manageable. Be cautious of local traffic patterns; they seemed inattentive. Specifically, a twin-engine Cessna landing behind us had a C172 enter the runway while the twin was on short final approach. The pilot executed a go-around, and the C172 pilot quickly executed a U-turn to vacate the active runway.
