Following a three-hour flight, we arrived after the FBO had closed its doors. We were situated under the FBO shelter attempting to navigate the Uber application when an airport employee approached us on a motorized tug. Benson, an airport staff member, had just completed some pattern work and discovered we were staying the night. He promptly offered us the use of a crew car. This was truly a blessing and an unexpected delight. He even granted us access to the restrooms as if the facility were still operational. Excellent customer service.

The information section states the FBO is open from 8 AM to 8 PM. However, the actual operating hours are 8 AM until 6 PM. The taxi number provided in the information section is no longer in service. The operational taxi numbers are: 706 483 1814; 762 231 7143.

I highly recommend the FBO at KCZL. Dwight, the manager, was extremely accommodating and helpful. They offer excellent pricing for 100LL and Jet A fuel. There are no landing fees for piston aircraft or for dropping off passengers. Facility fees for turbine aircraft and for GPU usage are very reasonable. The FBO building is quite nice, featuring a complete observation deck. It is conveniently situated halfway between Atlanta and Chattanooga. A truly great stopover location.
