Clovis Regional Airport KCVN Pilot Reviews

October 14, 2025The full service here is quite slow, frankly. A major issue arose when the attendant was preoccupied with texting instead of fueling my aircraft. I will likely bypass this airport on future trips. I plan on sending the photographic evidence to the airport's official email address.

March 30, 2025Some of the poorest service I've received, while flying as a contract pilot in a Citation based on the field. I called ahead of time stating what time I would arrive, but no one showed up. Twenty minutes later, they called back saying they had already closed. They promised to be there in 30 minutes, yet an hour and a half later, there was still no fuel. They claimed they were waiting for me on the ramp and that I never arrived—just very odd behavior. I was unsure of the aircraft's location, as it is based on the field.

November 13, 2024The jet fuel price is competitive here, and the staff running the operation are quite pleasant. However, there is a TSA checkpoint situated near what appears to be the FBO, but it is not officially part of it. A faint red line marks the boundary; crossing it results in very poor treatment, which I experienced firsthand. The presence of TSA seems entirely unnecessary, particularly when the personnel act as if they possess federal authority. I would avoid this location were it not for the decent fuel prices offered by the friendly staff.

April 18, 2024The FBO/pilot lounge is situated more toward the north side of the field. If you take the initial turn off taxiway A past the passenger terminal, you will notice fuel trucks. Be sure not to confuse it with the passenger terminal! It is a modest building featuring an ice freezer outside and an "AV fuel" sign. The staff are quite friendly. It offers a basic lounge area, a kitchen, and WiFi access. The self-serve fuel pumps are located on the far side of the ramp, heading toward the southwest corner, just before the final private hangar that has a green roof.
